At the request of the then Mayor of Battle Ground, accompanied by a council member, who was also a Battle Ground High School teacher, Prestige Development responded by bringing the Gardner Center to Battle Ground.
The Gardner Center brings a much needed cinema and other commercial and retail services to Battle Ground and was chosen because of Battle Ground’s growth and the limited leisure services the city currently had to offer.
Prestige Development completed construction of the 17,800 square foot Battle Ground Cinema in the spring of 2005. Before Prestige stepped in, the nearest theater was a 12-mile, 30 minute drive from the Battle Ground City Center.
Today, the cinema is one of Battle Ground’s favorite destinations. Luxury, reclining seating, 3D capabilities, first run movies presented in Dolby Digital ®, out of this world popcorn and a friendly and helpful staff make a trip to the movies in Battle Ground a special occasion.
